Richmond Shakespeare has announced auditions for two productions in 2025: The Father (a play) and Jesus Christ Superstar (a musical). Yes, these are modern plays, so no Shakespearean language. Please see the Richmond Shakespeare website for information including what to prepare for each audition and other necessary items (head shots, sheet music for the accompanist if you are auditioning for the musical).
